why do people still think there will be new skills for az and rits? dont you people ever read up on things?

the cantha involvement will work exactly like it does already- there will be a point in the game where you get a 'quest' that will take you to the new port.. in retrospect, characters from Elona will get quests to either "fight the undead in tyria" or "fight the plague in cantha".

As always, the graphics look stunning. No one can ever say Guild Wars isn't a beautiful game.

The landscapes look impressive. Was hoping to see something besides the paragons and dervishes using regular attacks, but they look great nonetheless.

The trailer was pretty cool, I like all the new enemies and the scenery. Now, when is that PVE preview weekend?

I hope they release more screenshots and details about Nightfall soon.

The music is very cool, being all epic and stuff. It also reminded me of The Mummy movies. Also looking at those palaces brought back the Prince of Persia days. This game looks very good, cant wait to explore those vast areas! Looks like charge is gonna need a capping.

and heres Kisu if you couldnt see him in the video:

Has anyone thought that maybe Kisu is there because he's trying to recruit Elonians to fight the plague, like Mhenlo was in Tyria? Or something like that...

IMO , now that the storyline with it being Cantha goes to save them... then.. that would carry out Assassin and Ritualist =D

Geez it looks pretty identical to prophecies in the landscape department, with cities that look like factions with a slightly different theme. Im pretty unimpressed

Heh I noticed it too. Maybe Krytans borrowed from Elonas architecture? I have a feeling that maybe the Krytans come from Elona anyways, way back when (before the Gods I think, but I dont know the lore too well).

Or maybe the Prophicies team is lazy.

The Krytans came from Ascalon. Didn't you read the lore? Does anybody read the lore?

i noticed that the first winged harpie foe thing was using canthan weapons, a bladed shield and dadao sword. does this mean that there wont be any elonian native weapons?

There definately will be. I'm pretty sure that they just haven't finished designing them yet, and so they didn't put them in the preview.

I hope...

I'm pretty unimpressed by the landscape myself, although I like the new elements in it.

I hope there will be more to "Nightfall" or many people will surely lose interest in the game (especially if they keep throwing mediocre add-ons on the market every 6 months).

@ ArenaNet: Dozens of new professions are no long term solution to boredom.

This is not a thread about mounts. This is especially not a thread for arguements.

nope, no one reads the lore, then they dont read the quest dialogue, then they skip the cinematics, then they bitch about the lack of story and complain about things not making sense.

This looks awesome to me. I love the crystal desert and look forward to the desert areas in Nightfall.

By the way that one place looks like it has the same fountain as Lion's Arch.

No it means they don't want to show you / reveal TOO much at this point, I think.

Maybe they will have weapons like the Sundering Rhino's Charge from the prophecies game of the year edition

for those of you that say that the landscape is unimpressive, you must be blind. Guildwars is a brilliant looking game, especially for no monthly fees.

seems interesting, too bad i cant watch it right now. too bad i have a mac laptop :/
